What started with the idea of mixing Post-Rock with Folk music, is where Benjamin Finney’s sound lives—taking inspiration from artists: Nick Drake, Sufjan Stevens, and Sigur Rós, Benjamin writes Folk instrumentals that “Achieve technical, Virtuosity while retaining melodic integrity”.
At the age of fifteen Benjamin was taken to Folk nights and surrounded by an assortment of sounds and instruments, which created this interest in folk soundscapes. Achieving technical virtuosity while retaining melodic integrity, Finney creates honest folk-driven acoustic instrumentals.
